I sure am lucky to have these two boys in my life they make me smile everyday!! I can't believe that I will be out numbered by boys in my house 3:1 it doesn't seem fair but I guess I will have alot of boys to take care of me! Daniel is the best thing in my life and I couldn't imagine life without him he works so hard for us and I sure did win the jackpot with him... Boz keeps me going all the time but he also makes me clean all the time (so he doesn't eat things) but my house seems to stay cleaner with him around... He is so fun to play with and watch how happy he makes daniel.. Daniel has always loved dogs and it is rubbing off a bit.. I hate to think that our lives probably won't ever be without a dog in it but its fun at the same time because we get out alot with him so we can play with him at the river and in the mountains. He sure does make me feel safe though. And the soon to enter the world Dakota already has me so excited to meet him. I know i'm 4 months away but I love feeling him in my tummy and knowing that he is our little boy!! I just love my family!!!
Its the Brinley's.. Daniel and I were married on January 30, 2009 and it was perfect! We welcomed Dakota into our lives in April and we have loved being parents every minute. Dakota is the best baby in the whole world and we are very lucky to have him in our lives. I love being a mom and every thing it has to bring, Daniel is a great dad and works very hard for our family. I am sure lucky!!! We love to travel and always are on the go. I love daniel and dakota more than anything in the world. They are my everything! We are so excited for what the future brings..

So I know that I am behind so I have to catch up today and I'm sorry to everyone that reads this because I know it is long I really am trying to do this everyday but time seems to run out so quickly...
Day 11 — A favorite book: Right now my favorite book is “Hypnobirthing” I know that might not be very exciting for any of you but to me it is fabulous because as many of you know I am going to have a natural birth and so I have to read up on everything and learn everything so I can be successful at this. Many of you may think I’m crazy and maybe I am but I have always dreamed of having my kids natural and so I am very excited for everything to come.. I have a few classes to attend with my Handsome coach (Sexiest I think ;)) Daniel and more things to read and watch and I will be ready I can’t wait!
Day 12 — A favorite quote: Happiness is not having what you want. It is wanting what you have.
Day 13 — What did you do today?: I woke up to Daniel telling me that I furness is not working and that if I wanted a shower I would need to get up and take it before the water went cold….. Dang I love my sleep but oh well then I took Boz out for his morning play and then ate breakfast and got ready for work and now am here “working”/taking a break so I can resume working for the rest of the day.
Day 14 — Your dream house... A ranch up in the mountains with a log cabin feel. Some animals to take care of especially horses. I want it big enough to entertain friends and family and warm and welcoming to everyone that enters. Somewhere where my kids want to be… Somewhere that makes memories happen. Fireplaces to make it toasty. I know this sounds cheesy but I love to think that this is where I will live one day.
Day 15 — Next 3 on “Bucket List”: 1- Visit all continents 2- See the Kentucky Derby with the biggest and fanciest hat and outfit 3- Run a marathon!!

Day 09 — A favorite movie (This changes with every new chick flick) but one of my favorites is
P.S. I love You!! Just so cute!!
Day 10 — A favorite food: My favorite food also depends on the day but I love fruit and lots of it... I also love Costa Vida you can't go wrong while eating there!! I get to go to the doctors today to see Dakota and since the doctor is so close to Costa Vida I might try to talk Daniel into taking me there... Yummy I can already taste it!!!
I hope everyone has a great weekend:)

Mark Wills - Don't Laugh At Me
Day 8: A Favorite Song
This has always been one of my favorite songs! I love the message that it sends to everyone about being different and not judging and I hope one day everyone will do just this and not judge and help out everyone that may need help no matter big or small.

Day 06: Something I bought recently
Well this one isn’t really hard for Daniels Birthday today I bought him the cutest matching hoodies for him and baby Dakota when he comes! I know that these two are always going to be together because Dakota is going to have his dad wrapped around his little finger… and I’m going to love it. Daniel always talks about sitting and watching NASCAR or Basketball with his little boy and when I picture it I just smile! I can’t wait for that day:)
Happy Birthday Babe!!!
The big 26!!!
It is Daniels Birthday today and everytime I think of him he just makes me smile! He is a perfect husband and will be the perfect dad:) He will always be the brightest part of my life and I just want him to know how much I appreciate him and his hard work for us. He never stops trying and is always wanting to be better. He makes me a better person and I couldn't imagine my life without him! I love you Honey Bunches of Oats and I hope you have a great Birthday and you get everything you want!
I love you!
P.S. isn't he so cute in this picture:)

Day 05 — Top 10 pet peeves
1- Not putting the seat down on the toilet or not flushing the toilet!!! Gross!!
2- Not only is it dangerous but holding your baby in the front seat of your car while driving just so you can have some peace and quiet!! I will give you the “dirty look” if I see you doing it just so you know….
3- Honking your horn at someone! I hate this I know some people don’t like to sit at a green light to long but are you really going to be there that long to worry about it, I think not.
4- Parents that don’t have time for their kids! Don’t have them if you are going to ignore them their whole life… I’m not talking about if you have to work but when you come home and all you can think of is doing something that doesn’t involve your kids every night shame on you. Your kids look up to you more then you will ever now so spend time with them while they want to or you will wonder one day why they never want to be with you.
5- Someone that calls your cell phone 10 times in a row just to see if they might answer the 10th time. They are probably busy so leave a message and I’m sure they will call you back. I’m okay with a couple times but seriously 10 times!!!
6- Not washing your hands after going to the bathroom!! I work at a place where you can hear if the water goes on or not and I wish I couldn’t tell but you would be surprised how many people don’t wash their hands after going to the bathroom. So if that’s you don’t wonder why I followed behind you with a Clorox wipe to sanitize everything you touched on the way out!!!
7- Being Late! I hate being late (I’m not perfect so it happens occasionally) and I don’t like when other people are late….. I’m okay with a couple times but every time gets old!
8- Liars…. I hate when people lie I usually can tell if your lying to me and it makes me mad especially if I know the truth and can’t just read it on your face. It doesn’t help you, you usually just dig yourself into a big hole when you lie!
9- When people won’t let you help them… They say they are okay and you really know that they need help no matter how big or small. Just let me help you if I can it will make both of us feel better!
10- When people think that having everything and all the money makes them better than other people. I’m okay with people having things and having money I wish everyone had that blessing but when you think you are better because your shirt cost $50 and mine was a hand me down don’t think that makes you better that just means you have a $50 shirt.. Not everyone has money so if you do figure out a way to share it with others and don’t be surprised if I think your dumb if I here you say something about being better than others because your bank account has a few more dollars then the next person… Your character is all that matters to me.. I will never let earthly materials determine if I can associate with you!
Well thanks for reading I’m sure some of you can agree or disagree with my pet-peeves so let me know. What are yours?

Day 04: Something I crave
Jamba Juice!! That is what I want all day every day I guess it's not such a bad thing to crave since it has ice, and lots of yummy fruit and you can even add vitamins!! My favorite is the Peach Pleasure without bananas plus raspberries and then I add a daily vitamin (Just in case someone wants to bring me one someday haha ;) What about you what do you crave?Friday, December 3, 2010
20 Weeks Half way there!!!
I'm 20 weeks today!! I'm not sure if it has been fast or not but I am sure excited to see our little boy! It will be so fun to have him around!! But there are a few things that I will be looking back on and smiling!
1- Just because you say your okay with gaining weight doesn't mean it is easy!
2- I now give into my cravings which I'm sure won't be good in the long run but I sure love it now.
3- I still fit into all my clothes:) But I'm getting close to having to break down and buy maternity clothes I'm sure.
4- Pre-Nesting doesn't just happen a couple weeks before the baby comes I want to get everything ready but I know that I still have awhile.
5- Eating lots of small meals everyday it just a good excuse to eat more!
6- Pregnancy brain really happens... I found that out today when I locked myself out of the house when I took boz outside to play and then I stood at my door not knowing what to do and then after freezing a bit and deciding who I should call to help me get in I remembered we had a spare!! I froze for no reason apparently:0
7- Being pregnant a cute is harder to me then I thought... But daniel always says that I'm the cuttest pregnant girl he has ever saw just to make me feel better... Oh how I love him!!
8- You feel like everyone is staring at you and its okay!
9- I can feel Dakota kick now instead of the little bubbles which I love! and Daniel can't wait until he can feel him too He says its no fair that I get to have him for 9 months.. Then I told him he could do it if he wants it would save me the weight gain, strechmarks etc.. But then he says he will just wait..
10- Everytime we see the ultrasounds at our appointments we think how we are so blessed and what a miracle to be able to see our baby and his growth..
I love this experience and I truly am okay with everything that comes with it I know everyone says you'll get lots of strechmarks and your body will never be the same but everytime I see my sisters with their babies I think to myself that it will all be worth it and its okay... I look forward to the future and what it holds for us!!

Day 3: A favorite photo
I love this picture because it was one of the funnest dates that I remember with Daniel and I before we were married. I went with my brother and sister in law and had a fun Heli ride up to Daniel's Summit where we had dinner and then we took a ride through the mountains and saw all the wildlife and pretty scenery! I love this memory and I'm glad I captured it!

So for Day 1: 5 Things About You That No One Really Knows
1- I two times that I have been pulled over in my life were within one week of each other with my friends we were on a trip to San Francisco and I only got one ticket!! I was going 20mph+ both times and I felt like the Dad on “Dan in real life” saying just put it on my tab ha ha good times!!
2- The only person that really knows this is my husband but I make lists for everything!! And I mean everything I think that I have to be so organized that I have lists for the lists that I make every time Daniel sees me make a list he can’t help but smile. I told him that I wouldn’t know what to do without them.
3- If I could put my sisters and mother together that is who I hope to be like one day!! They are all great examples and all have the best qualities!
4- I become more and more in love with my Husband everyday! He is the most important thing in my life and everyday I think to myself how I can love him more than I do now and then I wake up and I can’t help but love him more than the day before!
5- I am scared to become a mom!! I really don’t know how to do everything but I am so excited for Daniel and I to have Dakota in our family and I only have 20 more weeks to go
And since I am 1 day behind already here is Day 2: A picture of you last year and now and how you have changed since then
I don’t think that I have really changed that much. One year ago I had blonde in my hair and then I dyed it back and I guess I have gained a few lbs (I guess being pregnant does that to you) but all in all I hope I changed for the best because I don’t want to move backwards….

Cravings!!
I don't know about you but sometimes I think that it is okay to give into your cravings!! I did just that and bought a bag of these.........
And oh man can I tell you that you can never have enough of these (Even though I don't like chocolate this is white chocolate which isn't really chocolate at least that is what I'm told) which is really bad since I did buy a whole bag of them. I try to limit myself but they are always there tempting me.. I even told myself that I can't buy another bag unless I'm willing to share ;) What about you what is your craving? Since I love these I found a great recipe to enjoy them a little longer. It is Candy Cane Blossoms shown below if these appeal to you, you can find the recipe herehttp://www.hersheys.com/celebrate/holidays/recipes/detail.asp?id=8362&t=recipe#
Try them out and enjoy!

One last thing for the day. I finally went shopping last weekend after waiting for what seemed like forever and I came out with these! I just love them and I'm sure there will be more to come soon!
Daniel has always loved the little cowboy look and always said that he wanted overalls for his babies so when I saw these I just couldn't pass them up. You should have seen how excited he was when I showed him.. He loved them now all we are missing is the boots and cowboy hat. Which I'm sure we will have soon:)

16 + weeks and counting
So I'm almost 17 weeks on Thursday which to me doesn't seem very far so I hope this goes faster at some point! We found out that we are having a boy and we are super excited for him to come! Our name of choice is Dakota "koda" for short. I'm not sure what I am supposed to feel, do, or think when it comes to being pregnant since I am new at this but I will say it is an experience! Here is what I have learned at 16 weeks maybe someone feels the same as me.
16 weeks and looking back:
1- If at first you don't succeed try try again!
2- When people talk about morning sickness it isn't just in the morning. I was fortunate enough that I didn't get to sick but when I did it wasn't in the morning it was around lunch time so I would wake up some mornings and think I was on top of the world then come to find out at lunch I was at the bottom.
3- There is nothing like a jamba juice to help you get through the tough days.
4- Deciding on how you are going to have labor is a love/hate reaction from those around you. I have chose to have my baby natural which leads to everyone telling me their horror stories which I'm not scared of I just want to hear the good stories as well. I have many classes lined up (which Daniel is excited to be my labor partner for them all haha...) and books to read so if anyone has good advise pertaining to this feel free to share!
5- Even if I wanted to eat for two sometimes when your sick your lucky to eat for one... I'm lucky to be over that point but sometimes it was so hard to keep an appetite at all. Luckily I have the greatest mom and husband if I came up with something I wanted to eat they would do what they could do to make it happen so I stayed healthy
6- I've never seen of so many prenatal vitamins in my life!!! How are you supposed to choose just one when you make them all look appealing in their package..
7- The moment you hear your babies heartbeat is one that you will never forget! I could have listened to it all day. I love ultrasounds I just wish I had one at my house so I could do it when I wanted and not when the doctor says.
8- Being pregnant is amazing I finally was able to feel my baby in the last week and every time I felt it at first I thought my phone was vibrating but every time I checked my phone there wasn't anything and then it happened again and I just smiled realizing that it was my little man twisting and turning inside my stomach :) What a cool feeling.
9- Gaining weight is finally okay!! Wahoo!! Its a girls best day to be told its okay to gain weight every time you go to the doctor. I can't wait to have a belly so I don't just feel pudgy.
10- Knowing that Daniel and I are going through this together and making our eternal family makes every bad day okay and makes this experience one we will never forget. We are so happy and can't wait until we meet our baby!!
Sorry if this is boring but I just wanted to keep everyone up to date and I though this would be a fun way. I will have pictures to follow and I hope to keep it up weekly! Have a great day:)

Today is a new day!!!
Sing your heart out, Dance in the rain, Cherish the memories, Ignore the pain, Love and learn, Forget and forgive because remember you only have 1 life to live. I truly am learning this that it is never good to be mad, sad, frustrated, hold grudges or anything negative it won't help you get where you want so today is a new day and I'm going to be better:)

A few great things!!!

So today I decided that I would tell you a few great places that I have been that can help you with any house decorations that you would like to make!! This place is a great price and I would reccomend it to anyone:) It is called The Wood Connection and it has the best wood decorations and for the best price I just did a whole wall decoration set up and it was cheaper then anywhere around the best thing is that you can paint it yourself so it comes out how you want it and it will match anything in your house.... April Fools!!
What a weird day to celebrate... Does anyone know where this comes from? Here is a little discription
April Fools' Day or All Fools' Day is a day celebrated in many countries on April 1. The day is marked by the commission of hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, enemies, and neighbors, or sending them on a fool's errand, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible. Traditionally, in some countries, such as the UK, Australia, and South Africa the jokes only last until noon, and someone who plays a trick after noon is called an "April Fool".[1] Elsewhere, such as in France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Russia, The Netherlands, Brazil, Canada and the U.S., the jokes last all day. The earliest recorded association between April 1 and foolishness can be found in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (1392). Many writers suggest that the restoration of January 1 as New Year's Day in the 16th century was responsible for the creation of the holiday, but this theory does not explain earlier references.
What are your funny stories from pranks you have pulled or that were pulled on you? Here are some I'm sure you have heard of...
Classic Pranks
Rig the Sprayer
Put a rubber band around the push button of the spray nozzle (the kind with a hose) so the button stays down. Point it forward. When the victim uses the sink they will get a wet surprise!
Drippy
Use a pin to make a few small holes in a plastic disposable cup. Offer a drink to the victim and watch while the liquid dribbles out onto their shirt.
Do the Splits
Find a scrap of cloth. Place a dollar on the floor and stay nearby. When the victim comes by and bends down to pick up the dollar, rip the cloth loudly. Most people will reach back to see if they ripped their pants. One of the original classic April Fool's pranks of all time!

unique and fun April fool's pranks
Forgetful
Tape magnets to the bottom of an empty coffee cup, and attach it to the top of your car. Laugh at all the people who frantically try to get your attention as you drive by.
Big Winner
Some of the best April Fool's pranks take a bit of pre-planning. Buy a lottery ticket and give it to the victim on March 31. The next day go out early and buy another ticket with the exact same numbers as the WINNING numbers from the day before. Put this ticket in the place of the ticket from the day before. Wait for them to check the numbers in the paper. They probably won’t notice the different date, and will think they just became a millionaire!
Early Bird
Set the victim’s alarm clock for the middle of the night and hide it somewhere in the room where they will have to get up and scramble around to turn it off. (This works even better if you sneak in after they go to sleep and unscrew the light bulb in their lamp. Then they’ll have to search for the clock in the dark!)

OFFICE PRANKS
Stop the Calls
If the victim has a phone with a hook that presses down when the handset is in the cradle, tape it down. When he or she answers a call it will keep ringing.
Tidal Wave
Take about 20 (or more) paper or plastic cups, place them on the victim’s desk and fill them with water. Then take a stapler and staple them all together. You can also put the cups on the floor blocking their door, or just about anywhere.
While You Were Out
Leave a phone message for the victim that says that a “Mr. Lyon” called (or Mr. Behr also works), and wants to be called back. Then list the phone number of the local zoo.

computer pranks
Mouse Trap
Take a Post-It note and place it over the eye of the victim’s optical mouse. When the victim tries to use his or her computer, the cursor won’t move. Be sure to write “April Fools!” on the note! (Note if they have a standard mouse, you can perform the same trick by taping a piece of paper over the ball underneath the mouse.)
Typo Trouble
Carefully pop off a few of the keys from the victim’s keyboard. Switch them around and replace them. If the victim is a “hunt and peck” typist, this will cause great confusion!
I hope it puts a smile on your face:)

So I have wanted to be... well... more girly I guess and I have been thinking what I can do and then I go over to all of my friends cute decorated houses and I think "How the heck do you think of that" And I'm a do it yourself kind of person... So I buy all the books I can.. So my next purchase I think will be maybe Martha Stuart or some crafty magazine... Does anyone have any ideas?
I know there are alot of different places to get designs and fun things that are cheap I just don't know what is the best... There are a lot of projects from Joanns that I might check out... Here is the link if you are interested in that!www.joann.com

Okay 4 people is enough for me to keep blogging:) I can't promise pictures everytime but I will keep posting because I too love to read blogs! I love when they are updated often and when they have little stories to chear me up.. So maybe I'll try to have something I talk about everytime like a joke, or something cute(saying) to think about everytime... I don't know what do you think.. Some people do a recipe everyday but that wouldn't get me very far unless you like pictures of mac and cheese or bowls of cereal:) I'm not a very good cook and I often think it just takes to much of my time... I wish I could be like my sisters, mom, and aunts and grandma!! They are all so talented with this but all my husband ever wants to know is what my MOM is making... So I just say that I can't live up to that so I won't try;) I do own over 20 cook books but I just use them as reading material because it has pictures that go along with the story... I could also talk about how great of a house keeper I am but that would be a LIE! I can't iron clothes at all and when I try something happens like burning a hole into my temple dress so I could impress my grandma(needless to say I didn't impress anyone next time I want to impress grandma I'll call her to iron my dress). I could do exercising but I think everyone would get bored! So I don't know I will think of something! I am going to do better though I promise! Have a great day to everyone that is reading!
